SECRETARY’S REPORT no report
TREASURER’S REPORT Nancy read as of June 30th 69% of dues have been collected.
Patricia motion to accept, Joan second. No discussion passed.
CORRESPONDENCE email from the Long
Pond Association, meeting Aug 6th 7pm Eagles club to talk about weeds.
ROADS Neal, grading will be done
one more time. More material is needed. He feels we need to widen the roads to
where they should be. Most roads are 28’ wide. Mr Young would like some work done on Wright Blvd and tree branches need to be trimmed on Clark
road , there are a lot of dead trees.
BEACHES Justin motion to keep port
a potty on big beach thru labor day, Nancy second. Passed.
Boat ramp keys will be changed next year on M
emorial
Day weekend. Sand has not been dumped on second beach yet? It was voted on at June Meeting.
REC HALL A lot of work was done on
the inside and outside of the rec hall. All agree the improvements look great. Neal would like us to get estimates to do the bathrooms.
OLD BUSINESS Motion 1. To raise the
betterment fees to $225 for 3 years, or to drop them to $175, or keep them at $200.
Bill motion to vote on question Jim McLaughlin second. 14 in favor of
changing the dues 14 for and 18 no’s. Dues will stay at $200. 2. Changing
time of meeting, unanimous no, meetings stay at 11am Sunday mornings. 3. $1500
to survey big beach, unanimous. 4. Changing the bus stop will be disused at later
time, too much work needs to be done, but all agree would be safer for the children.
Hamburgers and Hot Dog day will be August 26th at 12 o’clock until 3.
