November 7, 2004 Minutes of the Monthly Meeting ~ Called to order at 11:11 AM

Roll Call: Present: Jim Silva, Mark Sutherland, Beth Amaral, Christine Silva, Nancy Jones, Pat Cocozza, Tom Moran, Bob Rounds, Patricia Welch, Justin Graham, Amanda St. Andrews, Matt St. Andrews, Neal O’Neill Absent: Frank Sullivan, Skip O’Neill, Pauline Murphy, Lorraine Sullivan (Summer Residents), Dave Gebo and Pat Cocozza.

Secretary’s Report ~ Matt made a motion not to read the report, Tom seconded. The report was accepted unread.

Treasurer’s Report ~ Beth stated that there was no income this past month, common in October. She read the report. Nancy made a motion to accept, Chris seconded. Report was accepted.

Correspondence ~

1) Al Giannini sent a snow plowing contract, 3 trucks, @ $42/ hr. Mark made a motion to amend the contract to read no plowing before three inches of snow is on the ground. Beth seconded. Amendment was made and the contract accepted. Al also included a contract for sanding @ $75/ hr. This contract was not accepted.

2) Pat Cocozza sent a letter resigning from the board. Her resignation was accepted with regrets.

3) Baystate Restrooms notified that the cost would increase from $3.50 per month.

4) MG&E requested completed Sales Tax Exemption form. Will complete and forward.

5) Silva’s Property Transfer – Mark to contact.

6) Rita Garbit, from the Town, sent a letter regarding our concerns about ATV’s on our streets and what could be done.

Budget Committee: ~ The Budget for 2005 was submitted to the BOD for review. It will be voted on at the December meeting.

Turkey Penny Sale: ~ Will be held, volunteers to meet after the meeting, and on Sunday 11/14 at 11AM at Nancy’s house.

Beautification ~ Dave sent word that the base would be done this next weekend.

Rec Hall ~ Closing arrangements will be made after the Turkey Penny Sale 11/20. Estimated value of the Hall for purposes of Sale is between $185,000 and $235,000 depending on Title V.

New window installation will be completed before Turkey Penny Sale.

Old Business ~

CPA regarding Business Tax Returns ~ Retired CPA

List for Atty: Empty Lot, Lien, Clark Rd Trust

Gate ~ Speak to Bradford Steel

New Business ~

Possibly replace furnace, check with Roby’s Gas for cost of labor and materials.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:00
