July 10, 2005 Minutes of the Monthly Meeting ~ Called to order at 11:10 AM

Secretary’s Report ~ The minutes of May Meeting were distributed. Amanda made a motion to accept as unread. Matt
seconded the motion. The minutes were accepted unread.
Treasurer’s Report ~ No Treasurer report as Nancy, a temporary treasurer, was having difficulty with the figures
on the report. The report will be submitted at the General Meeting July 17th.
Correspondence ~
1) A reminder of the annual inspection of the Rec Hall by the Town was received.
2) Debbie Blais, the realtor, requested a copy of the by-laws.
Road Committee ~ Patricia made a motion that Neal O’Neill replace Beth, who resigned, as the chairman of the
road committee. Matt seconded the motion. Motion passed. Patricia stated that she would again request replacement street signs.
Main Materials gave us a quote for $954 for paving around the new sign to be done at the same time potholes would be repaired.
Neal made a motion for $3,000 for both the paving and pothole repair.
Neal made a motion that beach maintenance should be considered part if the Road Committee. Patricia seconded the motion,
Motion passed. Neal made a motion to purchase a load of sand from Main Materials for $175. Patricia seconded the motion, Motion
passed.
Nancy made a motion to weld shut the boat ramp gate at 3rd beach and consider the boat ramp CLOSED. Chris seconded
the motion. Motion passed. Matt made a motion to allocate $200 for padlock, chain and keys for the Bib Beach boat ramp. Sully
seconded, and the motion passed.
Rec Hall ~ Some of the plaques for the new windows are ready for installation. More windows will be ordered with recent
donations. Jim cut the grass. Thank you Jim!
Old Business ~
Furnace ~ Patricia made a motion to discuss the replacement of the furnace at the General Meeting on July 17th.
Matt seconded the motion. Motion failed.
Solar lights at the new sign, Jim priced some small lights to be attached to the sign. He will get samples for the August
meeting.
