October 2, 2005 Minutes of the Monthly Meeting ~ Called to order 11:10AM
Roll Call: Present: Jim Silva, Christine Silva, Nancy Jones, Patricia Welch, Neal O’Neill, Frank Sullivan,
Skip O’Neill, Justin Graham, Absent: Pauline Murphy, Tom Moran, Matt St. Andrews, Amanda St. Andrews, Lorraine
Sullivan Quorum for Winter is 6
Secretary’s Report ~ The minutes of Annual Meeting in August were not available. There was no quorum at the September
meeting. An unofficial meeting ensued.
Treasurer’s Report ~ Nancy has reviewed and prepared the Treasurer’s Report for June, July, August and
September. All reports were handed out, and the September report was reviewed and accepted as read. Neil made the motion and
Skip seconded the motion.
.Snow Plowing ~ Plowing this winter will be at $47/hr on three trucks. Last year the rate was $43/hr but with the
increase in gas prices, the proposed $45/hr was raised.
Road Committee ~ Cost of fencing the grader, on purchased, is about $3,000. John Vacca has volunteered to keep the
machine in his fenced area. Tabled until spring. Justin made a motion to for $70 for a new cylinder for the Boat Ramp lock.
Also 76 keys @ $3.75 per key. Patricia seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Rec Hall ~ Jim asked Justin if he would order and install five windows before the Turkey Penny Sale.
Turkey Penny Sale: Planning Meeting at Jim’s house 10/19. Nancy, Justin, Patricia, Jim, Christine to plan the
event on 11/19/05.
Halloween Party: Patricia and Rosemarie will host a Halloween Party on Oct 29th at the Rec Hall. Patricia
made a motion for $50, Sully seconded. Passed.
Old Business ~
Buildable lots – 2006 bills to include buildable lots.
New Business ~ Silver City Galleria is having their Fall Festival Sun 11/20/05. All monies for tickets sold are 100%
profit for us, SELL TICKETS!
Expenditures under $500.00 will be made with discretion, over $500.00 will require a phone vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:45.
